Ingredients
- Field Bean / Mochai kottai 2 cup -
- Brinajl 3 no. -
- Small onion 1 cup -
- Tomato : 1 no -
- red chili 2 no. -
- Tamarind water : 1 cup -
- Coconut paste 1 cup -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- sambar powder 2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Oil : 4 tsp -
- castor oil 2 tsp -
- Mustard : 1 tsp -
- broken urad dal 1/2 tsp -
- Curry leaves 1 bunch -

Instructions
- chop the onion and red chili
- chop the brinjal
- add chopped tomato and mix well
- add brinjal, mix well and allow to cook for 5 minutes in medium flame
- add turmeric , sambar powder and salt and mix well
- add mochai kottai / field bean and mix well and add required water for gravy and allow to cook for 2 minutes
- add coconut and allow to cook for 10 minutes in medium flame until it becomes gravy consistency
- now heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and curry leaves
- transfer into the gravy
- now mochai kottai / field bean puli kuzhambu is ready
