Ingredients
- Red gram(Thuvaraparippu) - 1/2 cup
One or more of the following vegetables cubed:-
- Yellow pumpkin(Mathanga) -
- Potato -
- Bringal/Eggplant - 1 cup
- Green chillies(slit) - 4 nos
- Curry leaves(As reqd) -
- Coconut oil - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Pressure cook dhal with water and turmeric powder.
- Add vegetables, 2 cups of water and green chillies to the dal.
- :- No chilly powder required for this curry.
- Cook till the vegetables are done.
- Switch off the flame and add curry leaves and coconut oil.
- Just pour the tea spoon of oil over the hot dish and curry leaves. No seasoning with mustard is reqd.
- :- Serve with rice and pappadam.
