- Chow chow - 2 cup
- Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Onion - 1
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.
- When mustard splutters add urad dal ,stir for 2 minutes.
- Add red chilli and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped chow chow and stir for 2 minutes.
- Grind coconut, cumin seeds ,onion and chilli powder in a mixer.
- Add this ground mix to chow chow mix and add turmeric powder and chilli powder to this and cook for 10 minutes.
- Now chow chow thoran is ready to serve.
