- Brinjal - 2 cup
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Green chilies - 4
- Gram masala - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Wash brinjal and keep aside.Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds and onions saute for 2 minutes.
- Add green chilies to this and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add washed brinjal to this add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 minutes until they become tender and cooked. Add turmeric powder and salt and cook for 5 minutes..
- Then add pepper powder and gram masala and saute for 2 minutes.
- Nadan vazhuthananga masala is ready.
