Ingredients
- Nellikka(Gooseberry) - 10 -
- Fenugreek powder - 1 tspn
- Asafoetida powder - 1 tspn
- Red chilli powder - 3 tspsns
- Turmeric powder - ½ tspn
- Salt(As required) -
- Sesame oil(if necessary) - 2 tspns

Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water
- Boil the water further in a medium flame for some time
- When the Gooseberry starts to burst, put off the stove and remove water from it and allow to cool.
- Remove the seeds from the Gooseberries
- Add Red Chilli Powder, Asafoetida powder and Fenugreek Powder
- Stir the mix well (add 1 – 2 tspns Sesame oil also, if necessary)
- Also add ½ cup of hot water and stir the mix well.
- Nellikka (Gooseberry) pickle is ready. It can be served as side dish for Dosa, Cooked rice etc.
