North Indian Moong Dal Curry Easy dal curry 1 cup Green gram (roasted lightly, Moong dal/Cherupayar parippu)1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/2 tsp Chilly powderSalt (As reqd)2 tsp Garlic (chopped)1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)2 tsp Coriander leaves (chopped)11/2 cups Water1 tbsp Oil Heat oil in a pressure cooker.Splutter cumin seeds.Add garlic and saute for 3 - 4 mins.Add moong dal, turmeric, chilly powder, salt and water and cook upto 2 whistles.Garnish with coriander leaves.:-Serve hot with white rice or chappathis.
