These palak idli fries are awesome made with left over idlies. These are soft, less spicy and ideal for kids. This dish contains the whole goodness of palak in small cubes of idli and this looks very attractive and serves to be an energetic recipe. The boiled palak paste is been added to the essence of onion ,tomato, and ginger garlic paste. The first aroma comes from sauteing cumin seeds in ghee and this enhances the rich taste of palak. just spice it up with little red chilli powder and salt

- palak 1 cup -
- idli 5 -
- Ghee : 2 - 3 sp
- jeera or cumin seeds 1 sp -
- onions chop 1 cup -
- tomato chop 1/2 cup -
- Salt to taste -
- red chilli powder 1 sp -
- turmeric powder 1/4 sp -

- boil palak for fewminutes and grind them to a paste
- heat ghee and jeera
- add tomatoes ,salt,red chilli powder and turmeric powder
- now add the palak paste and stir well
- now add cut idli cubes turn them gently till hot and serve
