Pattani Saadham Combination of Green peas(Pattani) masala and rice 1 cup Rice1 cup Green peas1/2 cup Coriander leaves1/4 cup Mint leaves (Pudhina)1 no Onion (big)5 nos Garlic pods1" piece) Ginger5 nos Green chillies1 tsp Salt3 tsp Oil2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)5 nos Curry leaves Pressure cook rice and green peas separately. Grind together coriander leaves, mint leaves, half onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and 1 tsp of cumin seeds into a paste.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and the remaining half of finely chopped onion. Fry, till it turns transparent.Add the ground paste, cooked peas and salt.Mix it thoroughly, till the raw smell of the paste goes. Add rice and mix well.:- Serve hot with Onion Raita. Tamil
