Combination of Green peas(Pattani) masala and rice

Ingredients
- Rice - 1 cup
- Green peas - 1 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves(Pudhina) - 1/4 cup
- Onion(big) - 1 no
- Garlic pods - 5 nos
- Ginger - 1" piece)
- Green chillies - 5 nos
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Oil - 3 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5 nos

Instructions
- Pressure cook rice and green peas separately.
- Grind together coriander leaves, mint leaves, half onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and 1 tsp of cumin seeds into a paste.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and the remaining half of finely chopped onion.
- Fry, till it turns transparent.
- Add the ground paste, cooked peas and salt.
- Mix it thoroughly, till the raw smell of the paste goes.
- Add rice and mix well.
- :- Serve hot with Onion Raita.
