Pineapple Homemade Jam can be made at home, with just 3 simple ingredients and no preservatives. This is a simple and delicious mix that kids love at all seasons and is almost inseparable with them. They love the sweet colorful jam mix and it serves well for those fussy kids. The exact period of the origin of jams are debatable. There is no precise date regarding its origin. But you can be sure of one thing. It dates back to stone age. Preserves got into existence since there was food shortage. Of course necessity is the mother of invention. That is how jams came into existence. The first jam recipe officially recorded was by Marcus Gavis Apicius from Rome dating back to 4th Century AD. Therefore this jam falls in the continental food category. I have nostalgic remembrances of those olden times when my lunch box was full of bread slices with colorful jam spread out luxuriously.

Even now I personally cherish jam spreads when I am out of time for a delicious meal. So I keep Pineapple Homemade Jam in store always. Pineapples grow plenty in Kerala and they are seasonal. When ripe pineapples are available, you can go for Pineapple Homemade Jam that is quite easy to prepare. Removing the outer spiky skin of pineapples requires a bit of effort. The slightly tangy and sweet flavored Pineapple Homemade Jam is one my favorite ones that I will forever cherish. I love this at all days of the week.  The sumptuous Pineapple Homemade Jam will impart a wonderful flavor and taste to varied number of dishes. Despite the ready availability of store bought pineapple jams, there are a lot more advantages of preparing them at home. Pineapples are healthy and quite nutritious.
