  • 1 packet Thai Rice Noodles
  • 150 g Prawns
  • 1/2 cup Chicken cooked&minced
  • 1 cup Roasted peanut crushed
  • 1 cup Carrot sliced
  • 1 cup Beans sliced
  • 2 nos Egg
  • 1 cup Beans sprout cooked
  • 1/2 cup Lemon grass sliced
  • 1/2 cup Tofu
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 3 tbsp Pad thai sauce
  • 2 tsp Tamarind sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 no Onion sliced
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing simple pad thai, first soak rice noodles in salt water.
  • Strain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion.
  • Add the prawns and fry till color changes to pink.
  • Add fish sauce and cook prawns.
  • Add carrot, lemon grass, beans and beans sprout.
  • Sprinkle salt and fry again.
  • Add egg and scramble it.
  • Add tamarind sauce, pad thai sauce and mix well.
  • Add the chicken and mix again.
  • In a serving plate, place the noodles. Add the prawns mix and garnish with crushed peanut.
  • Simple pad thai is ready.
