- Tomato - 6 nos
- garlic - 10 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Tamarind juice - 1/4 cup
- Peppercorns - 10 nos
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Corriander leaves -
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5 nos
- Dry chilly - 2 nos
- Rasam powder - 1 tbsp

Instructions
- Boil tomatoes with 1 cup of water for 5 minutes.
- Add tamarind juice to this and boil for 2 minutes.
- Grind cumin seeds, pepper, garlic and coriander leaves.
- Add ground mix and keep it aside.
- grind tomato pieces also.
- Blend them to get smooth puree.
- Next heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds When mustard crackles add dry red chilly and curry leaves
- Add rasam powder to that and stir for a minute.
- Mix with tomato mix and mix all together .Then boil for 2 minutes.
- Now rasam is ready.Add some coriander leaves to this
- we can serve rasam with hot rice.
