Stuffed Capsicum

A simple Stuffed Capsicum

  • Wash the capsicum in normal water.
  • Cut it into two pieces and remove the seeds from the Capsicum and keep it aside.
  • Take the smashed potato, chopped onion, coriander leaves in a plate and add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and cumin seeds.
  • Mix them well.
  • Fill this mix in the capsicum pieces and press it well with the thumb.
  • Fill this mix in the casicum pieces and press it well with the thumb and keep the masala filled capsicum separately.
  • Heat 1-2 tsp oil in a frying pan and put the masala filled capsicum pieces into the heated oil.
  • Cover the frying pan and allow to cook the capsicum in low flame for about 10 minutes.
  • After about ten minutes, turn the capsicum to other side.
  • Cover the frying pan and cook it further for about another 5 -10 minutes (if necessary apply some more oil in the frying pan).

  • The stuffed capsicum is ready and can be served with chappathi / parotta / poori or rice.
