Wash bitter berry and crush it slightly so the seeds remain at the bottom and use the berry alone before you make a gravy out of it. This dish is made in a thick consistency that best suits for rice.

- sundakka 1 cup -
- fenu greek 1 /4 sp -
- cumin seeds 1/2 +1/2sp -
- mustard 1 sp -
- curry leaf few -
- Grated coconut : 1/2 cup -
- pepper 1 sp -
- red chilli 1 -
- red chilli powder 1 sp -
- coriander powder 3 sp -
- tamarind juice 1/2 cup -
- poppy seeds 1 sp -
- Salt to taste -

Instructions
- in oil saute fenu greek, cumin, mustard seeds, red chilli, curry leaf and sundakka
- dry fry coconut, jeera, pepper, poppy seeds, and grind it finely
- add this ground mix to the gravy
- add chilli powder and coriander and salt
- allow it to cook and add tamarind juice
- simmer the flame wait till the oil oozes out and serve
