Tamil Nadu Style Mushroom Curry

Simple and mouth watering mushroom curry

For masala:-


  • Roast all masala ingredients one by one till nice aroma comes from it(for about 1/2 a min).
  • Allow it to cool and then, grind it without adding water.
  • Cut onion and mushroom lengthwise.
  • Heat oil in the pan or a kadai.
  • Add onion and fry till it turns light brown.
  • Add the mushroom and frozen peas.
  • Add the masala powder and salt.
  • Lower the flame, cover and cook for about 10 mins.
  • Meanwhile, grind the coconut to a smooth paste with little water.
  • Add the coconut paste into the pan and cook it for 15 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
