- Tomato 10 -
- Onion : 2 -
- brinjal 4 -
- red chili 8 -
- oil 5tsp -
- cumin seed 1 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- Curry leaves 1 bunch -
- Mustard : 1 tsp -
- broken urad dal 1 tsp -

- in a pressure cooker add oil and temper the cumin seeds
- now add red chili
- add onion and saute it for 3 minutes
- add tomato and mix well and saute it
- add brinjal and mix well for 2 minutes
- add salt and turmeric powder and mix well
- add 1 glass of water and mix well. close the lid and allow for 3 whistle
- once the whistle steam comes down take and mix with the beater
- in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and curry leaves
- now tomato bajji curry is ready to serve. serve with idli or dosa
