  • Green chili 1 no. -
  • cumin seed 1/2 tsp -
  • coriander leaves 1/2 tsp -
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp -
  • Salt to taste -
  • lemon juice 1/4 tsp -
  • Oil : 3 tsp -
  • For batter: -
  • besan flour 1/2 cup -
  • Salt to taste -
  • Red chili powder : 1 tsp -
  • butter milk 1 glass -

Instructions
  1. chop the onion and green chili

  2. In a pan heat the oil and temper the cumin seed and saute the onion and green chili for 2 mins

  3. add coriander leaves, turmeric powder and salt and mix well

  4. add boiled potato, mash it and mix well

  5. in another bowl add besan flour, red chili powder, salt and butter milk mix well and make as a batter

  6. take a small ball press it and dip in the batter

  7. heat the oil and deep fry it

  8. In the bread / bun apply any chutney

  9. keep the two vada and close it

  10. now batata vad pav is ready to serve
