- Green chilly - 2
- Shallots - 5
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt(as required) -
- Curry leaves(as required) -

- Remove the outer skin of plantain flower and cut into small pieces
- Heat oil in a pan splutter the mustard in it and add dry red chilly.
- Add plantain flower,turmeric powder and salt.saute it again for 5 minutes.
- Grind the coconut with shallots,green chilly and curry leaves
- Add it into the upperi and cook it again for 2 minutes.
- Serve it with rice
