 Heals wounds, ulcers, enhances diigestive system, stimulates menstruation, kills intestinal worms, boosts health of heart etc.

NUTRIENT VALUE :

 Good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein, Riboflavin and Zinc, and a very good source of Vitamin B6, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.

CULINERY AND OTHER VALUES :

 They are used as a vegetable. You only eat the peeled centre part of the shoot, which is white and hairless.
