- Chicken - 1 kg
- Curd - 500 gm
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Ajinomotto - 2 pinches
- Food colour(optional, red) - 3 drops
- Curry leaves(leaves of 10 stalks) -
- Green chillies -

Instructions
- Marinate the washed chicken with curd, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and refrigerate overnight or 3 hours.
- Heat up a pan.
- Add the marinated chicken directly on medium flame.
- Cover and cook for about 15 mins or till the chicken is cooked.
- :- Do not worry since it will not catch the pan beneath.
- Add ajinomotto and the optional food colour, only if you would like a bright appearance.
- Melt butter in a frying pan.
- Add the chillies and curry leaves and fry, till the curry leaves become dry.
- Add this mixture on top of the chicken on flame and mix well.
- Place them on a serving dish.
- Garnish with a strand of coriander.
