2 tbsp Butter1/2 cup Onion (chopped)2 T Flour1 cup Boiling chicken stock1/2 cup Almonds (crushed)1/2 cup MilkSalt (As reqd)Freshly ground white pepper (As reqd) Melt the butter in a saucepan.Add the onions and cook until soft but not browned.Stir in the flour. When blended, add the boiling stock, stirring briskly. Allow to simmer a few minutes. Stir in the crushed almonds. Cook at the simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in the milk and allow to heat through.
