Ingredients
- broad beans / avarakkai 100g -
- Steamed rice 1 cup -
- small onion 20 no. -
- tomato small 1 no. -
- red chili 1 no. -
- Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- sambar masala 1 tsp -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- Oil : 3 tsp -
- broken urad dal 1/2 tsp -
- bengal gram 1/2 tsp -
- Mustard : 1/2 tsp -
- Curry leaves 1 bunch -

Instructions
- heat the oil in the pan and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and bengal gram
- add curry leaves, onion and red chili and saute it until the onion turn into brown
- add tomato and mix well
- add broad beans / avarakkai and mix well
- add salt, turmeric powder and sambar masala and mix well
- now add 1 glass of water to cook the broad beans
- allow to cook in medium flame
- cook until the water get dry
- now add steamed rice and mix well, allow in medium flame for 5 mins
- broad beans / avarakkai rice id ready
