- Baby aloo 250g -
- Small onion 1 cup -
- Oil : 4 tsp -
- Mustard : 1 tsp -
- cumin seed 1/2 tsp -
- curry leaves 6 to 7 no. -
- Salt to taste -
- red chili powder 1/2 tsp -
- sambar masala 1 tsp -
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp -
- asafoetida 1/2 tsp -

Instructions
- wash baby aloo thoroughly and boil in the pressure cooker by adding salt, and leave for 2 whistles
- once the aloo get boiled, peel the skin
- cut the baby aloo into two pieces
- heat the oil and temper the mustard, cumin seed, asafoetida, curry leaves
- add chopped small onions and saute it for 5 minutes in a medium flame until it turn into brown
- add baby aloo and mix well
- add turmeric powder, red chili powder, sambar masala, salt and mix well
- allow to boil in a medium flame until the the masala get cooked with baby aloo
- baby aloo fry is ready. serve with rice, rotis etc
