Badhal Gobi
Badhal Gobi is an exotic dish where the cauliflower, peas are cooked in tomato spicy sauce and topped with fresh curdled milk which makes the dish delicious.The name badhal indicates cloud of the curdled milk that covers the gravy. Badhal gobi curry is popular recipe in north india. It is a spicy recipe easy to prepare at home. The ingredients used in cooking are low fat with high nutritional properties.
Ingredients
- cauliflower 1
- peas 1 cup
- milk 1/2 lt
- lime juice 1 sp
- cumin seeds 1 sp
- onions sliced 2
- ginger garlic paste 1 sp
- red chili poeder 2 sp
- coriander powder 2 sp
- turmeric 1/2 sp
- salt to taste
- tomato 1
Instructions
- in oil temper cumin seeds and saute onions
- add tomatoes and cauliflower
- add peas
- curdle milk with lime juice
- now slowly add the curdle milk to the gravy and serve.
