- Bamboo seed/rice - 200 g
- Jaggery - 500 g
- Coconut - 3
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ingredients

- Wash the bamboo rice properly with water and keep it aside
- Add jaggery into it and mix well
- When it again starts thickening add the first milk,cardamom powder,cumin powder,salt and mix well.cook for another five minutes on low flame,keep stirring.switch off the flame when the payasam is thick
- Allow it to cool and then serve.
