- Brinjal - 4 to
- Big Onion - 1 no
- Oil - 5 tsp
- Whole Black Pepper - 10 nos
- Curry leaves -
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek powder - 1/2 tsp
- Small tomato - 2 nos
- Garlic cloves - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind pulp - 4-5 tsp
- Coconut paste - 4 tsp
- Salt(to taste) -

Instructions
- In the same pan add more oil if required and saute cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add all dry masala powders, mix and cook it for 10 mins.
- Add the fried brinjals and Salt to taste. Cook in low flame for 10 mins
- Serve with Biriyani, Fried rice or White rice
