Tamarind
A lemon sized one, Puli
3

Red chillies
3
nos
Green chillies

Ginger
chopped

Garlic
pods

pinch
Turmeric powder
3
spoon
Coriander
Asafoetida(Kayam)
Salt
As reqd
For seasoning:-

spoon
Mustard seeds
1
spoon
Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu

Curry leaves
Instructions
Heat some
oil
in a pan.
Add the cut
cabbage
pieces and fry for 3 mins.
Add
ginger
,
garlic
, green and
red chillies
,
mustard seeds
and coriander and sprinkle asafoetida and fry for 5 mins.
Sprinkle
turmeric powder
.
Allow it to cool.
Add
tamarind
juice and
salt
to it. Mix well.
Grind it to a fine paste.
Season it with
mustard seeds
and
curry leaves
.
