- Chakkakuru sliced - 1 cup
- Coconut oil - 2 tsp
- Chilli flakes - 2 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Green chilly - 4
- Salt - 2 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Water - 4 tsp

- For preparing kerala chakka kuru mezhukkupuratti we have to peel the skin and slice chakkakuru into pieces.
- Heat oil in a kadai add onions,green chilly,red chilli flakes saute for a minute.
- Add this sliced chakkakuru into the kadai saute of 5 minutes until the masala is completly sticked with chakka kuru.
- Add chili powder,turmeric powder ,salt and 3spoon water cook for 5 minutes.
- Now chakkakuru mezhukkupuratti is ready to serve.
