- Elephant yam(medium piece, Chena) - 1 no
- Onion(medium, chopped) - 2 nos
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Mustard seeds(For seasoning) -
- Dry red chillies - 2 nos
- Curry leaves(Few) -

Instructions
- Put a kadai on fire and pour oil. Temper the mustard seeds, dry chillies and curry leaves.
- Add the cooked chena and add pepper powder.
- Stir in low flame for two minutes and switch off the fire.
- An easy side dish for rice is ready.
