- Fish fillets - 500 g
- Small onions/shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 15 nos
- Ginger(grated) - 1 inch
- garlic(grated) - 8 cloves
- Green chillies(chopped) - 6 nos
- Curry leaves - 2 springs
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut milk(1st milk) - 1 cup
- Coconut milk(2nd milk) - 2 cups
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing coconut milk fish, first heat oil in a vessel. Splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.
- Toss in shallots, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves.
- When the shallots become brown, add in coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder. Saute it on low flame.
- Add in the fish fillets and allow it to cook.
- Add vinegar and stir.
