250 gm Colocasia (Chembu)1 cup Coconut (grated)6 nos Pepper corns (crushed)2 nos Garlic1 tsp Chilly powder1 tsp Turmeric powderCurry leaves (Few)Coconut oil (As reqd)Salt (As reqd) Remove the skin and cut the chembu into small 1 inch pieces. Wash well.Take a pan and add 2 cups of water. Boil and add chembu pieces. Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt. Cook in low heat until colocasia pieces are done.Meanwhile grind coconut with pepper and garlic. Add ground coconut mixture and curry leaves into the colocasia curry.Heat and remove pan from fire. Do not boil the curry. Add some coconut oil and close the pan with a lid. Colocasia(chembu) special curry is ready. Goes well with rice and chappathy. Kerala
