Colocasia(chembu) pieces are cooked with chilly powder and other ingredient and finally added to ground coconut

Ingredients
- Colocasia(Chembu) - 250 gm
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- Pepper corns(crushed) - 6 nos
- garlic - 2 nos
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Remove the skin and cut the chembu into small 1 inch pieces. Wash well.
- Take a pan and add 2 cups of water. Boil and add chembu pieces.
- Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt. Cook in low heat until colocasia pieces are done.
- Meanwhile grind coconut with pepper and garlic. Add ground coconut mixture and curry leaves into the colocasia curry.
- Heat and remove pan from fire. Do not boil the curry. Add some coconut oil and close the pan with a lid.
- Colocasia(chembu) special curry is ready. Goes well with rice and chappathy.
