- Left over Cooked Dal(any type of cooked channa dal or moong dal ) - 1 cup
- Wheat flour - 2 -
- Onion(finely chopped, medium) - 1 no
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 2 -
- Garlic pods(finely chopped) - 2 nos
- Coriander leaves(A handful, fully chopped) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Chilly powder - 1/4 -
- Turmeric powder(optional) - 1/4 tsp
- Oil for frying -

Instructions
- Take the leftover dal and mash it well, so that all the ingredients used along with it while cooking are blended well.
- Take the wheat flour in a big bowl and add the dal, onions, chillies, garlic, coriander leaves, salt and all the masalas.
- Add a spoon of oil and knead the flour to a smooth dough.
- :- If required you may use water.
- Refrigerate the dough for 15 - 20 mins.
- Take out the dough and make lemon sized balls off it.
- Dust this with some flour and roll into a medium sized triangular paratta.
- Cook on a tawa, until golden brown on both sides.
- :- Serve hot with pickles and curd.
