Palak (Spinach) & Wheat Flour Poori

  • Clean and wash the Spinach and then grind it well.
  • Put the grinded Spinach into a vessel .
  • Add the wheat flour into the Spinach paste along with some salt.
  • Mix the Wheat flour, Spinach paste and salt together and make a dough, adding required quantity of water.
  • Wheat flour, Spinach paste dough.
  • Make small balls with the dough.
  • Roll the dough balls as shown in the picture.
  • Boil the oil in a Kadai (Cheena chatti).
  • Fry the rolls in the oil.
  • Spinach, wheat flour poori is ready. It can be served with chutney, pickle or some other side dish.

  • It will also be a tasty and nutritional food for children if it is given to them with fruit jam or honey.
