Ingredients
- Chicken(skinned and cut into pieces) - 1 kg
- Ginger(sliced) - 1 1/2 "
- Garlic pods(peeled and sliced) - 10 nos
- Yoghurt/curd - 2 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 3/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil -

Instructions
- Place the chicken in a large bowl.
- Add yoghurt, turmeric, garam masala, pepper powder and salt.
- Mix well together and keep aside for 30 mins.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add the marinated chicken.
- Close with a lid and cook, till the chicken is almost done.
- Remove the lid and allow the water to get absorbed.
- Remove from flame, when the chicken is cooked and there is enough gravy to coat the chicken.
- :- This dish is not a gravy dish. You can alter the amount of pepper and garam masala according to your taste.
