- Pomfret/King fish - 4 nos
- Garlic cloves - 6 nos
- Dry red chillies - 4 nos
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Fish masala(Eastern brand) - 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing fish fry in plantain leaf, first make slits on fish.
- Grind together garlic, red chillies, turmeric, coriander powder, chilly powder, cumin seeds and pepper powder.
- Marinate the fish pieces with masala and keep for 10 minutes.
- Stir in fish masala powder and curry leaves into it.
- Cover each fish separately in plantain leaf.
- Serve hot fish fry in plantain leaf with rice.
