Fresh Bombil (Bombay Duck) Curry

  • Clean and wash the bombils. Cut into 2 - 3 pieces.
  • Marinate with chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Add rice flour and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add chopped onion, slit green chillies and saute till it turns light brown in colour.
  • Add the bombil pieces.
  • Add 2 cups of water. Cover the pan and allow the fish to cook for 2 minutes.
  • :-Do not stir the curry else the fish will break.
  • When done,add vinegar. Stir very carefully.
  • Transfer the contents to abowl.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
