An easy recipe for ghee rice

Instructions
- Soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain and keep it aside.
- In a deep pan, heat ghee.
- Add the whole spices and saute for a few seconds.
- Add 6 cups of water.
- Cover and cook till the water is fully absorbed and the rice is cooked.
- Transfer the contents to a serving platter.
- Garnish with fried onions, raisins, cashew nuts and coriander leaves.
