Green beans

Ginger
finely chopped
10
cloves
Garlic
finely chopped
1
tsp
Fenugreek seeds
Uluva
1
tbsp
Chilly powder
5
nos
Green chillies
chopped
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
1/2
cup
Vinegar
1/4
tsp
Mustard seeds
1
tbsp
Asafoetida powder
kayam
Gingely
oil
As reqd, nallenna
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing green beans pickles, wash the beans well and slice into small pieces.
Mix some
salt
,
turmeric powder
and steam it. 3)Dry saute
mustard seeds
, fenugreek and
cumin seeds
in a pan. Grind it to a fine powder and keep it aside.
Heat 2 tbsp of
oil
in a pan, add some
mustard seeds
& fenugreek.
Then add in the
ginger
,
garlic
& green chillies. Saute it well.
Add cooked green beans, chilly powder,
turmeric powder
,
salt
and add the previously powdered mustard mix.
When the mixture cools down add vinegar.
Note: 1)Store it in bottle and serve after 1 day.
