Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(to taste) -
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Garam masala - 3 tsp
- Onion(sliced) - 4
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1.5 tbsp) -
- Tomato(chopped, big) - 1
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
For the green masala paste :
- Coriander leaves - 1 big
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Green chillies - 5
- Curry leaves(Grind these ingredients into a fine green paste. You can add more (or less) green chillies according to your taste.) - 4 sprigs

Instructions
- Clean, wash and cut chicken into small pieces. Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, 1 tsp garam masala and little salt. Keep aside.Make the green masala paste ready.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces along with the remaining 2 tsp garam masala and little water. Mix well, cover and cook it on a medium flame till chicken is done.
- The gravy should be of medium consistency. Check salt and add more if needed. Remove from fire and serve hot.
