- Dry Sprats : 200 gm (Unakka Meen) -
- Bombay onion cut into half a rounds : 1 big -
- Green chillies cut into 2 long wise : 5 nos -
- Chilly pieces : 2 tsp -
- Roasted chilli powder : 1 tsp -
- Saffron : a pinch -
- Curry leaves : 1 spring -
- Garlic cut into pieces or chopped : 1 clove -
- Goraka : 1 Piece -
- Coconut Oil : 2 tsp -
- Tomato cut into pieces (optional) : 1 no -
- Water : ¼ cup -
- Salt to taste -

Instructions
- For preparing Halmasso Thel Dala : Unakka Meen, wash dry sprats thoroughly.
- Put dry sprat into a saucepan and add chilli powder, saffron, and mix.
- Then add chilli pieces, goraka, garlic, curry leaves, tomato and mix.
- Put some water and cook.
- When the water is dry add green chillies, onions, and add coconut oil and temper it for 3 minutes.
- Then take off the fire and dish it.
