Rich tamarind sauce as a side dish with Biriyani

Ingredients
- Tamarind extract(tamarind soaked in water for 15 minutes) - 1 cup
- Ginger(sliced) - 2 tbsp
- Green chilly(sliced) - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Whole red chillies(cut in half) - 3 nos
- Jaggery(grated, Sharkara) - 1 cup
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Chilly powder(A pinch) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing inji puli, first extract tamarind juice.
- Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, a pinch of salt and jaggery to tamarind extract and mix well. Keep this aside.
- In a wok or kadai, heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Then add whole red chillies , ginger pieces and green chilly pieces. Fry well.
- Add the tamarind pulp and cook until done... enjoy inji puli side dish with biriyani.
