Combination of kadala and coconut

Ingredients
- Chick pea(kadala) - ½ kg
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 3 tsp
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- Green chillies - 4 nos
- Asafoetida(Kaya podi) - 1 pinch
- Mustard seed(Kadukku) - 2 tsp
- Coconut oil - 2 tsp
- Raw mango(small size) - 1 no

Instructions
- Soak chick pea for 10 hours before preparation.
- Boil chick pea in cooker adding enough quantity of water, turmeric powder and salt.
- Grind the grated coconut with green chillies. Keep this aside.
- Splutter mustard seeds in coconut oil.
- Drain the water from the cooked chole.
- Add cooked chick pea to the 4th step.
- Add the ground mixture and the raw mango(small pieces) to 6th step.
- Add asafoetida and mix it well. Cook for few minutes till the mixture mixes well.
- Add curry leaves.
- Serve kadalachundal(chole) - brahmin special recipe hot.
