- curry leaves 1 cup -
- small onion 4 or 5 no. -
- green chili 2 no. -
- red chili 2 no. -
- Ginger : small piece -
- garlic 2 no. -
- fennel seed 1/2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- grated coconut 1/4 cup -
- Oil : 2 tsp -
- Mustard : 1/2 tsp -
- broken urad dal 1/4 tsp -

- take coconut, curry leaves, ginger garlic, green chili, red chili, fennel seed, salt and onion
- add all and grind it by adding little water
- temper the mustard and broken urad dal in oil and transfer into karuvepalai thuvaiya, karuvepalai thuvaiyal is ready
