Kerala Cuisine Chicken 65 A totally different recipe....I bet you will like it.... 1 kg Chicken3 to Chilly powder (or as reqd)3 to Coriander powder1 tsp Turmeric powder4 to CurdSalt (As reqd)8 to Curry leaves5 to Green chillies (or as reqd)5 to Tomato ketchup (or as reqd)Oil (for frying) Cut chicken into small pieces.:- It should not be too small.Marinate the chicken pieces with chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, curd and salt. Mix well.Set aside for 4 - 5 hrs either outside or in a refrigerator.:- You can also keep it marinated overnight.Heat sufficient oil in a deep bottom pan.Shallow fry the chicken, till its cooked well.:- It¦ll definitely turn brown and can get burnt. So on a low flame, fry the chicken little by little. As you finish frying each time, remove the chicken and place it in another deep-pan.Heat the fried chicken(do not use oil) on a medium flame.Add green chillies, curry leaves and tomato ketchup and mix well, till all the ketchup gets coated on the chicken.Keep heating it well on the medium flame.:- Add more ketchup, if desired.Add hot water(not too much) if you require gravy.Add a little bit of chilly powder into the hot water and keep mixing well and heating for a while, till gravy becomes thick.Mix properly and heat well.:- Serve with parathas or chappathis. I tried this recipe out. Its really tasty. It requires effort.But its come out good and worth trying !!! HAVE A GO !!!!
