Instructions Heat tawa and add sooji and fry till the color changes to light brown. Keep it aside Heat tawa and bring the water to boil. When the water starts to bubble add sooji The sooji should be cooked well. Once done add sugar and pinch of salt. Sugar when heated dissolves and leaves this mixture in liquid consistency. Keep stirring until it becomes semi solid and add ghee. (for ghee lovers feel free to add as much as needed according to the taste) After the ghee melts and blends , Add fried nuts and raisins and fry a minute for the nuts to get mixed. Garnish with nuts and serve hot. Recipe Notes Color powders are available and can be used to give attractiveness to the eyes as well.
