- Dried kokam - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1½ cup
- Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Black salt powder - ½ tsp
- Ice Cubes(A few) -
- Mint leaves for garnishing (optional) -
- Black Pepper Powder(optional) - ½ tsp

Instructions
- Soak kokam in 2 cups of warm water till soft.
- Strain the syrup through the fine sieve.
- Add roasted cumin powder, black salt and black pepper powder in it.
- To serve, add 2 cups of chilled water and ice cubes in the concentrate.
- Garnish with a mint leaf.
- Gently pour the sharbat in the glass and serve.
- :-Kokam sharbat is a summer coolant and is used to sour curries.
