Konchu Thoran
Prawns thoran
Ingredients
- 500 gm Prawns
- 1 no Onion sliced
- 2" piece Ginger crushed
- 10 nos Garlic pods crushed
- 3 nos Green chillies crushed
- 2 cups Grated coconut
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- Salt As reqd
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Curry leaves A few
Instructions
- Clean the prawns.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add onion and saute well.
- Cover and cook on a low flame for 10 mins.
- :- Do not let the water dry up completely.
- Add the above mixture along with a few curry leaves into the cooked prawns and mix well.
- Stir continuously, until water dries up completely and a nice aroma comes.
- :- Serve hot.
