Kondakadalai Kathirikkai Kuzhambu is a very popular spicy and tangy kuzhambhu with lentils, brinjals and other spices which popular in South Indian households. This goes well with boiled rice.

  • In grinder add coconut and onion and tomato and jeera1/2 tsp grind well
  • In pan add oil and temper mustard and jeera and fenugreek
  • Now add shallots and curry leaves saute well
  • Now add brinjal (egg plant) and saute well and cook till soft
  • Now add boiled chickpea and mix well
  • Now add sambhar powder and salt and turmeric
  • Now add water along with tamarind water bring to boil
  • Now add coconut paste which we grind early bring to boil thick and when oil comes out and turn off
  • Now its ready to serve kondakadalai kathirikkai kuzhambu
