Ingredients
- Tindora/Ivy Gourd(Kovakka) - 3 cups
- Shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 1/4 cup
- Red pepper(crushed) - 1 tsp
- garlic(crushed) - 2 cloves
- Coconut pieces(thinly sliced) - 9-10
- Oil - 1 tbsp/as
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Instructions
- For preparing the healthy dish, first wash kovakka and drain. Cut off the stem and slice into long pieces. Ripe ones should be discarded.
- Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add chopped shallots, crushed red pepper, garlic and the coconut pieces.
- Saute well until the shallots are golden brown. Add turmeric powder.
- Stir and add the kovakka/tindora slices. Add required salt and cook in medium flame until done.
- Your Tindora fry is ready and serve hot with rice.
