For the chicken filling:


  • Make a semi hard dough with all purpose flour, salt and water. Keep this aside.
  • Shred the cooked chicken with fork or food processor and keep this aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, saute onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies. To this add shredded chicken, grated coconut and saute again.
  • Now add garam masala and curry leaves. Add required salt and mix well. Keep this aside.
  • Make small balls out of the dough. Roll them out like rotis and stuff the chicken filling.
  • Make into a half moon shape. Seal the edges with a touch of water and twist the edges around the kozhiyada. Deep fry till golden brown.
